In fact the best is TX16Wx, which reads sfz and sf2 both as well (and also wav, aiff, aifc, ogg, flac, typhoon, and yamaha) and which provides many, many excellent functions. And it has native 64-bit for Windows in addition to the 32-bit version and has also AU for OS X.

Is there any way to use .sfz files in Logic Express? I don't have access to Windows so I can't use any software unless it supports Mac.

Hi,
From the filext.com webpage:
xtension: SFZ
Program and/or Extension Function Company
SFzip SoundFont File Archive
Specific Notes
SFzip is a Windows program that performs lossless compression/decompression and manages archives of SoundFont files.

Archive None
Identifying Characters
Hex: 00 53 46 5A 41
ASCII: .SFZA

General Notes

So, the short answer is:
NO. And NO.
You need a Windows program that can uncompress these files into soundfont files.
Soundfont files can be used by Logic Pro's EXS24 sample player and editor. Not by Logic Express' EXSP sample player (no editing)
cheers

What is an SFZ file?
Audio sample definition file saved in the SFZ format and used to define instruments; contains opcodes that define audio sample attributes, such as their map location across a standard MIDI keyboard and how notes will respond to velocity; also includes the default path used to locate the collection of samples, most likely .WAV, .AIFF, .MP3, .OGG, or .FLAC files.
Opcodes that are contained in the SFZ file are used for a variety of purposes. They are used to define common values that are applied to regions within a group, define keyboard zones, specify a pitch offset for a group or region, and more.
Since the SFZ files are standard and contain opcodes in plain text, you can create a SFZ file from scratch by using a basic text editor, such as Notepad (for Windows) or TextEdit (for OS X).
